We partnered with NMCRA to design and develop a modern, accessible website in Webflow to better communicate their mission and current clinical trial activity. A key feature is a custom-built Cancer Trials search tool, developed using Cursor AI and Webflow Cloud, which pulls data from a live JSON feed maintained by UNM and displays active trials in an intuitive interface.
The site was designed in Figma, then built in Webflow using responsive, modular components. For the trials feature, we used Webflow Cloud to build a Next.js-based app that fetches and filters JSON data from UNM’s Velos system. This data is presented in a searchable table with trial details and site info. We also trained the NMCRA team to manage their CMS content.
Launched in September 2025, the site now offers a user-friendly experience for patients, providers, and researchers. The Cancer Trials feature enables real-time discovery of active trials across New Mexico. The NMCRA team can easily update content, post announcements, and more.
